NEW BROOK WOVEN BACKLIGHT FR
June 2010
This fabric is coming soon and early reaction to it so far is extremely encouraging. It allows polyester fabric to be used for
internal light boxes where PVC has previously reigned. One of the major advantages is that it can be recycled when it has reached the end of its useful life cycle whereas PVC is difficult to recycle.
So far this fabric has been printed direct-to-textile and has produced excellent results. It can of course also be printed dye-sub paper transfer also producing brilliant results. When illuminated the colours really come to life and look truly remarkable.
This fabric is easy to finish and can have kader-edging sewn to it for use in light box installations or with exhibition display systems where tensioning the graphic is required. Further finishing is possible as it can be cut with scissors, a hot knife or other industrial cutting devices. Sewing is also possible and it can be easily over-locked or hemmed, or pocketed top & bottom for hanging banners.
