Flags and Banners are one of the most effective ways to communicate. Flags have existed for about 2,000 years and evidence can be found in Greek and Egyptian historical artefacts. Today whether you’re printing National, Corporate or Promotional graphics to effectively communicate your message, Brook International has a wide choice of fabrics. From lightweight flag fabrics ranging in weight from 85gsm up to 160gsm and offered in woven and knitted qualities means whatever type of flag you’re producing Brook International has the fabric for you.
Alternatively if you are producing promotional banners for retail, outdoor events, community events or other occasions Brook International can provide a wide choice of fabrics suitable for banners. Typically these fabrics tend to be heavier than those used for flags and the most popular weights are between 205gsm to 220gsm. With these fabrics being heavier means that printed graphics produce stronger and more vibrant colours.
More and more in-store graphics are now using fabrics as the media of choice replacing traditional media such as paper or card and even PVC. Examples can be seen in the high street and in shopping retail parks throughout the country. Highly tactile flags and banners manufactured from fabric provide a fantastic eye-catching alternative to yesterday’s media.
Easy to finish using conventional sewing machines flags and banners are easily finished. The finished item can be quickly installed on site in a number of ways whether as a conventional flag or suspended graphic or a graphic installed in an aluminium framework system. One major advantage with flags and banners manufactured in fabrics is the fact that they are highly durable and easy to transport and install.
The following table shows all the fabrics that fall in to the category of fabrics suitable for flags and banners. Many of the fabrics are available in a choice of finishes including pure, Brook-7, Flame Retardant (FR) and Brook-7 FR. Some products are only available as a FR option and are identified as such. Certain fabrics can also be FR treated to order, please enquire. Where weights are given this is for guidance only.
