AA Flags Ltd of Consett, one of the UK’s leading flag & banner makers, came to Brooks recently with a rather unusual request. They had received an important order from sports shirt supplier Diadora and, instead of requiring Brooks’ normal FWP-woven & FKPP-knitted polyester, AA Flags were looking for a denser version of white FKPP knitted, which was flame retardant, 3mts wide and was on the shelf for immediate delivery.
Fortunately, because of the wide and varied range that Brooks hold in stock to support their worldwide customer base, they were able to supply AA Flags the following day with FKPP1-FR, a certified flame retardant version of 205g Textured Poly.
Within 2 days AA Flags had completed the job for Diadora which was to produce a 12mt replica of the new Scotland national football shirt.
